Lysis Goes Multi-Gaming

Finally after months of hard graft Lysis have widened our horizons and gone multi-gaming!

So now to go along with the CS section of Lysis we have a new WC3 section.

Our first recruit for this section will be top UK warcraft 3 player Makaveli. The team UK captain is a good first recruit for us and we are looking for players of similar standard to join him on the quest for putting the UK on the map in WC3 terms.

Here is a bit of an update on the counterstrike team that is Lysis.

Firstly we welcome the living legend that is pby, who is now included in the Lysis roster gl to him!

Secondly bill has gone inactive but due to his coolness stays on the roster as an inactive member, dont worry he will still be around to throw random abuse at people so we haven't lost him yet!

Thirdly we were geared up for our clanbase opencup div2 game vs ef-united last night, however a no show by them means that we have taken a default win in our first game!

Things to look forward to:

First CSGN League match vs oTT thursday 10th march on de_dust2

We are still hanging around in the third division of CSGN so i think this season we are gonna make sure we put the effort in to take ourselfs onto bigger and better things.

Also watch out fot Lysis attending lans somewhere at somepoint in time.

Lysis will be attending GamesGenius LAN in Gravesend, Kent. This will be the first LAN they have attend to as a team and will hope to pull off a decent performance.

The chosen team is:

ste - chris - jez - bill - kris

The LAN will take place on Saturday 19th February running over onto the next day.

Cheating?

After nearly a weeks worth of battling with the admins everyone finally got the Team SIN screenshots from the csgn(the admins also received them at the same time as us). Browsing through the screenshot we then come across this one. This is a screenshot of the supposed SIN player KILO11, on close inspection you may notice that the USP model is actually over the scoretable, this is something that i have never seen before on asking around it emerged that this had been known to happen with using a cheat called 'azncheat'.

To see if this was actually true a good friend of mine George 'geo' De Ath, downloaded azncheat. On close inspection of the cheat geo replied to me with this screenshot, this clearly shows again the model of the USP over the top of the scoretable and under the net graph.

On seeing the evidence that we had collected the CSGN admins had no doubt in their mind what to do. So along with their evidence and the screenshots that we had they have decided to removed SIN from csgn due to cheating in a CSGN official game.

Team SIN have decided to remove the player from their line up the released this anoucement. This should leave us with either having to play the new clan that will come into the league or we will just get a default victory.

Clanbase Opencup Qualifiers UK/Benelux Result

Tonight Lysis played Choke in a Clanbase Opencup Qualifiers match, only narrowly losing at the very end the match. After a shaky CT losing the half 4-11, Lysis managed to keep choke back winning consecutive rounds until the very end where Choke pulled back the 2 required rounds. Was a very good game which I felt was very winnable considering the situation. Final score was 14-16, good game!

Also, Lysis overcame the mighty #F8.cs in an ED ladder match, taking the game 23-1. Well played all.

Clanbase Opencup Qualifiers UK/Benelux

Lysis have won all their games and are now playing in the final qualification game against #Choke. After receiving a default win vs Bravura and beating BoC.cs 16-14, this final game is going be tough. The team will have their work cut out if they do not practice. The game will be played on nuke, stand by for HLTV details.

Another note, Lysis have been accepted into the UK2on2 Clanbase UK/IE Cup. Also, after the CSGN game vs Team-SIN, there have been some problems which will either result in a win to Lysis or Team-SIN receiving penalty points. I shall update as the case unfolds.

New Site!

Infact our first proper site if my memory is right. So lets see what we have, well firstly there is a shocking temporary banner untill someone can be arsed to make a proper one, i have fiddled with the code a bit to get the members on the right and thats basically it wait for some news to appear!!

update: Added a contact section to the right hand side, ste such be pleased to notice that it is his email there!

edit: Took his email off cos he cried! But fair game to him!
